Tempus fugit

Time flies…
You only have to blink and two months have passed!
August means school holidays for me, juggling being at home, entertaining and taxi-ing, whilst trying to allow myself to sneak off my studio occasionally to finish orders.
It also means a holiday to the mountains!
Back to the beauty and quiet of the Austrian Alps for a bit of hiking and thrill-seeking and lots of lovely Austrian hospitality!
On the jewellery front, lots of great things have happened in August and September including being able to announce that I’m going to be in a book about narrative jewellery which is truly fantastic!
‘Narrative Jewelry’ the book is published in October and will be available on Amazon etc.

In September I was part of Auction for Aid which is a Facebook auction which raises money for refugees fleeing war torn countries. Last year it raised £26K and this year a whopping £41K!
I’m very proud to have been part of it. You can see all the auctioned pieces on the Auction for Aid Facebook page:
