These vessels were commissioned by the P&O Makower Trust for the Crafts Council Collection in 1995.
They were inspired by some amazing taps in one of the bathrooms at the incredible and flamboyant Brighton Pavilion designed for the Prince Regent by John Nash.
The vessels are fly-pressed and chased silver. With a ceramic base and cabochon fitted ‘Hot’ and ‘Cold’ ceramic buttons with ceramic transfers.
The vessels are now in the National Museum Wales in Cardiff.
